An Introduction

Hello cool creatures of the internet. My name is Stella, and I've decided to make a Neocities page

Why? Because I wanted to :P

Anyways, let me tell you a bit about myself. After all, this is an introductory blog post.

I've always been a fan of computers since I was little (The reason why I've decided to use Lain as my online persona), I spent most of my years playing with videogame consoles (mainly the PS2, the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS, all of which I have fond memories of) and with the family computer. I managed to get my own around 2015 or so, and ever since then my interest in technology and computer science has been expanding constantly.

I've taken programming courses for Java, Python and HTML. The contents of which I've completely forgotten. Right now, I'm studying C by myself and I'm looking forward to tackle Rust one day.

I'm also a big fan of music, with rock and metal being among my favorite genres. My favorite bands of all time are Queens Of The Stone Age, System Of A Down and Serú Girán. I also know how to play the guitar and I'm interested in learning how to play the piano and how to sing.

I also do like videogames. My favorite consoles are the PS2, the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo 3DS; and my favorite games are Celeste, the Bit.Trip saga, Hypnospace Outlaw, Milk inside a bag of milk, Super Mario Galaxy, Animal Crossing City Folk and Guitar Hero 3.

I also play chess from time to time, but I haven't played in a while and I've forgotten most of the theory.

I hope that I can keep working on this website regularly throughout 2024, as I've had many neocities pages previously under different usernames btu I've abandoned them out of laziness.
